Author Guidelines
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MANUSCRIPTS
The Journal of Science and Education (JSE) welcomes the submission of original research manuscripts that have not been previously published or are under consideration elsewhere. The Journal accepts manuscripts in a broad range of disciplines related to science, education, and other relevant fields.
Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that it complies with the following formatting and submission requirements.
2. MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
Manuscripts should be organized in a clear, logical, and coherent scientific format. A manuscript should include the following sections:
Title: The title should accurately reflect the content of the study and should not exceed 20 words.
Author Information: Provide the full names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses of all authors. The corresponding author must be clearly identified.
Abstract: A concise abstract of no more than 250 words summarizing the research objectives, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions.
Keywords: Provide three to five keywords that accurately represent the content of the manuscript.
Introduction: Present the research background, objectives, and research questions. Clearly explain the rationale for the study and its significance.
Materials and Methods (or Methodology): Describe the research design, data collection procedures, materials or instruments used, and data analysis methods in sufficient detail to enable the study to be replicated where appropriate.
Results: Present the findings of the study clearly and objectively. All tables and figures should be clearly labeled, embedded within the manuscript, and cited in the text.
Discussion: Interpret the findings by comparing them with previous studies, explaining their significance, and highlighting the novelty and contribution of the research. The limitations of the study and recommendations for future research should also be discussed.
Conclusion: Summarize the principal conclusions of the study, emphasize its practical implications (where applicable), and suggest directions for future research.
References: References must be prepared in accordance with the APA (American Psychological Association) citation style. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all cited references are accurate, complete, and consistently formatted, and that every reference cited in the text appears in the reference list.

4. MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
Authors are required to submit their manuscripts through the Journal's online manuscript submission system. The submission process consists of the following steps:
Account Registration: Access the online submission system, create a personal account, and log in.
Manuscript Submission: After logging in, select "New Submission", complete all required manuscript information, and upload the manuscript file together with any supplementary materials (if applicable).
Submission Confirmation: Upon successful submission, the corresponding author will receive an email confirmation containing the manuscript identification number, which should be used to track the review process.
5. PEER REVIEW PROCESS
The JSE employs a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
The peer review procedure consists of the following stages:
Initial Screening: The Editorial Office evaluates the manuscript for its relevance to the Journal's scope, compliance with the submission guidelines, and adherence to research and publication ethics.
Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two independent experts in the relevant field for evaluation. The peer review process normally takes 4–8 weeks.
Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' comments and recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or the Editorial Board will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept the manuscript.
- Accept subject to minor revisions.
- Reconsider after major revisions.
- Reject the manuscript.
If revisions are required, authors will be given a specified period to revise and resubmit their manuscript.
6. ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening and proceed to the peer-review process are subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC). The current APC is VND 1,000,000 per manuscript. The APC is collected at this stage to support the costs of editorial handling, peer review, plagiarism screening, copyediting, and publication. Authors experiencing financial difficulties may apply for a full or partial APC waiver by submitting a request to the Editorial Board.
