Không – Thời gian nghệ thuật trong truyện ngắn của Nagai Kafū nhìn từ ý thức thẩm mỹ Nhật Bản

Abstract

Nagai Kafū is one of the representative Japanese writers of the modern period, renowned for his refined aesthetic sensibility and nostalgia for traditional Edo culture. His short stories captivate readers not only through topics such as geisha or Edo culture, but also through his construction of the pathos of things space-time and imperfect space-time. These two modalities of space-time reflect both the Japanese sensibility toward nature, the four seasons, and traditional culture, and the ways human beings confront impermanence, fragility, and the finitude of existence. Drawing on structural-systemic and interdisciplinary methods, as well as perspectives from poetics and Japanese aesthetics, this study elucidates Kafū’s creativity in constructing artistic space-time. It also highlights his continuation and development of the traditional aesthetic spirit in the process of modern Japanese literature. Through this lens, the pathos and awareness of imperfection in space-time reveal Japanese aesthetic consciousness while simultaneously exposing the existential depth embedded in the author’s artistic vision

Nagai Kafū là một trong những nhà văn Nhật Bản tiêu biểu thời cận hiện đại, nổi tiếng với cảm quan thẩm mỹ tinh tế và sự hoài cổ về văn hóa truyền thống Edo. Truyện ngắn của ông không chỉ hấp dẫn độc giả bởi các đề tài về geisha hay văn hóa Edo, mà còn từ cách ông kiến tạo không – thời gian bi cảm và không – thời gian bất toàn. Hai kiểu không – thời gian này vừa thể hiện cảm quan thiên nhiên, bốn mùa và văn hóa truyền thống của người Nhật vừa cho thấy cách con người đối diện với sự vô thường, mong manh và hữu hạn của kiếp sống. Bằng phương pháp cấu trúc – hệ thống, liên ngành, cách tiếp cận thi pháp học và mỹ học Nhật Bản, bài viết làm rõ sự sáng tạo của Kafū trong việc xây dựng không – thời gian nghệ thuật, cũng như sự tiếp nối và phát huy tinh thần mỹ học truyền thống trong tiến trình văn học Nhật Bản thời cận hiện đại. Qua đó, cách nhìn bi cảm và ý thức về sự bất toàn trong thế giới không – thời gian đã thể hiện ý thức thẩm mỹ Nhật Bản, đồng thời bộc lộ chiều sâu hiện sinh trong quan niệm nghệ thuật của tác giả.
