Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between stress, anxiety, depression, sleep quality and smartphone addiction among university students. The study included 905 students from four universities in Hue who completed a questionnaire that included demographic questions, the Smartphone Addiction Scale - Short Version (SAS - SV), the Anxiety, Depression, and Stress Scale (DASS-21), and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale (PSQI). The prevalence of smartphone addiction among participants was 38.0%. The results showed a positive correlation between stress, anxiety, depression, sleep quality, and smartphone addiction. Some recommendations for future research are given.

Tóm tắt

Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là tìm hiểu mối quan hệ giữa stress, lo âu, trầm cảm, chất lượng giấc ngủ và hành vi nghiện điện thoại thông minh (ĐTTM) ở sinh viên đại học. 905 sinh viên từ 4 trường đại học tại thành phố Huế đã tham gia vào nghiên cứu và hoàn thành bảng hỏi gồm các câu hỏi nhân khẩu học, thang đo nghiện ĐTTM (SAS – SV), thang đánh giá lo âu – trầm cảm – stress (DASS-21) và thang đo chất lượng giấc ngủ Pittsburgh (PSQI). Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy 38,0% sinh viên nghiện sử dụng ĐTTM, có tương quan thuận giữa mức độ stress, lo âu, trầm cảm, chất lượng giấc ngủ và hành vi nghiện ĐTTM của sinh viên. Một số khuyến nghị cho nghiên cứu trong tương lai được đưa ra
