Abstract

This paper presents the development and validation process of a survey tool designed to evaluate factors affecting STEAM education practices in preschool teachers. The survey tool is based on the InSTEAM conceptual framework, encompassing factors such as awareness, attitude, conditions, and the organization of STEAM activities, as well as children’s learning outcomes. A survey involving 186 preschool teachers was conducted to test the reliability and validity of the tool. The results indicate that this tool meets measurement requirements and can be applied to assess the current status of factors affecting preschool teachers’ STEAM education practices, thereby providing essential data to improve teaching methods.
